CHARLIE
DEWITT
Charlie DeWitt has served as the Director of Government Relations
at the Leonard Resource Group, Inc. (LRG). Before his position
with LRG, he served as a Government Affairs Associate for
the New York Mercantile Exchange, the world’s largest energy
futures market. Charlie spent most of the last decade on Capitol
Hill, where he served as Legislative Director for Rep. Tom
Campbell (CA-14) (1996-2000) and as Legislative Assistant
to Rep. Mike Crapo (ID-02) (1993-1996). He earned a B.A. in
English from Dartmouth College and an Executive Master’s in
Leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of
Business.
Charlie has been instrumental in the development of complex
legislative policies in health care, the environment, international
and military affairs. Charlie has navigated the very complex
agencies with many layers of bureaucracies to identify the
right people for the successful marketing of a wide variety
of products. His analytical skills in policy are highly sought
after in the Washington, DC, area.
