SANCHEZ CAMINO
Milagro Communications Group senior partner Christina
Sanchez Camino has over 20 years experience in broadcast media
communications with an emphasis in public affairs, social
marketing and project management. During the course of her
career, Ms Sanchez Camino previously served 12 years as Public
Affairs Director for Univision’s flagship station, KMEX-TV,
Channel 34 the leading Spanish-language television station
in the country where she was in charge of developing custom
social marketing campaigns and promotions over multiple distribution
platforms. She also was Community Affairs Director at KWHY-TV,
Channel 22 where she was executive producer and host of “Foro
22” a weekly Spanish language Public Affairs program.
Christina has received multiple industry awards including
two Emmy Awards from the Los Angeles Academy of Television
Arts and Sciences. She is also a recipient of the prestigious
“Peabody” award for the campaign “Ya es Hora, Ciudadania”
(Now is the time, Citizenship) which naturalized over 1.4
million Hispanics in the US.
