GREGORY
KILEY
Gregory Kiley is a public policy and government relations
consultant, focusing on national security and defense issues.
Greg brings more than 25 years experience in the legislative
and executive branches of government, including over 10 years
as a senior congressional staff member and 15 years in the
United States Air Force. As a senior professional staff member
for the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), Greg served
as staff director for two SASC subcommittees, with an oversight
portfolio including all air and ground forces, military logistics
and readiness, and overall defense and homeland security budgetary issues.
Greg has written and spoken on various defense issues both
inside and outside government. Recent publications include
those on economic operations and business development in conflict
zones, defense industrial base issues, the future of defense
budgets, and homeland security contract issues. Mr. Kiley began his professional career in the U.S.
Air Force, culminating as a senior pilot flying C-130 aircraft
and deploying throughout the world, including Southwest Asia,
Europe, the Far East, and Latin America.
Greg is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Graduate
School of Public Affairs at the University of Maryland, and
the Seminar XXI Program of the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. Additionally, Greg serves as a senior associate/consultant
with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
